Isleta Pueblo

Diane Wade Wounded Horse was born in 1962 and has been making pottery for since 1986. She specializes in stone polished jars with lids, fetishes and ollas with animal figures. She is the daughter of Cecilia Chewiwi of the Isleta Pueblo and Miles Wounded Horse of the Sioux Tribe. She gathers her clay from the Pueblo, uses all natural slips and fires her pottery outdoors.
