Jemez Pueblo

Vicentita Yepa was born in 1936 and has been making pottery since 1944. She was taught by her mother Persingula P. Tosa. She is a member of the Corn Clan. She gathers all of her materials from the Jemez Reservation. She fires both outdoors and sometimes in a kiln. Her favorite part of making her pottery is moulding the pots. She is the mother in law of Maxine Yepa.
